We are looking for a Fraud and Applications Support Analyst to provide second-line technical support across a range of applications and systems. This role will focus on identifying and preventing fraud while offering technical support for database and application systems.Key Responsibilities
- Provide application support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Offer second-line technical support to teams working with Unix, Wintel, Oracle, and MS SQL.
- Develop and manage fraud reports to identify and reduce fraudulent activity.
- Investigate actual or potential fraud cases and collaborate with internal and external teams to prevent fraud.
- Maintain support documentation and prepare SLA reports.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
Requirements
Essential:- BA/BSc in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL).
- Background in fraud detection or application support.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Access.
- Experience handling sensitive information and working with remote teams.
- Experience with Unix shell scripting, .Net, C#, or ASP.Net.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS regulations and payment processing.
- ITIL foundation certification or higher.
