Role Overview

We are looking for an Ivanti Endpoint Management Engineer to ensure the operational efficiency and security of the Ivanti Endpoint Management Suite. This role involves managing patch deployments, handling security improvements, and providing 2nd/3rd line support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Ivanti Endpoint Management Suite, supporting patch management, OS provisioning, and software delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Ivanti configurations for corporate builds, patching, and security.
  • Investigate and resolve security vulnerabilities within established timelines.
  • Improve packaging and delivery strategies for application and OS updates.
  • Document systems and processes, taking ownership of patch lifecycle management.
  • Support technical projects, custom software distribution, and system upgrades.

Requirements

Essential:
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing Ivanti Endpoint Management Suite, including OS provisioning and patching.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft OS deployment.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, Microsoft Active Directory, and group policy configuration.
Desirable:
  • ITIL certification and familiarity with virtual technologies like Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, vb.net, and .NET.
Personal Qualities:
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
