Location: Redhill / Hybrid (2 days per week in office)
Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing technology team based in Redhill.
You will work closely with the Infrastructure Manager to design, implement, and maintain a resilient IT environment spanning Windows systems, Azure cloud services, networking, Linux integrations, containerisation, and SaaS platforms.
This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure solutions, ensuring maximum system uptime and a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities

Build, manage, and maintain Windows Server environments and End User Computing (EUC) platforms (Windows 10/11).

Manage core networking services including SD-WAN, Azure networking, Firewalls, and VPN connectivity.

Package and deploy software applications using SCCM and Intune.

Architect and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with business projects and operational needs.
-
Build and manage scalable services within Azure and utilise DevOps methodologies.
-
Conduct system failover testing, security patching, and vulnerability assessments.
-
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure systems align with security and compliance standards.

Provide hands-on technical support within an ITIL service management framework, managing tasks via Jira.

Actively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to increasing IT service reliability and performance.
Skills & Experience Required
-
Strong experience (5+ years) supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, and Intune environments.

Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
-
Expertise in Microsoft 365, Hybrid Exchange environments, Entra ID (SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, Enterprise Apps, Privileged Identity Management).

In-depth knowledge of Azure architecture, including cost optimisation and DevOps practices.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and the use of security tools to enhance system maturity.

Strong networking knowledge including routing protocols, firewalls, SDN technologies, and packet-level troubleshooting.

Experience with managing EUC web filtering, email security services, SSL certificate administration, and file/print services.

Proven ability to innovate and challenge existing processes to drive operational efficiency.
